Date/time (local) | Latitude | Longitude | Notes |
09/06/16 07:51:18 | 69.3381 | -164.7732 | Lots of regularly spaced sounds in p11. The regularity makes me think its the rudder, but its worth a look by
Kate. |
09/06/16 08:36:18 | 69.3390 | -164.7737 | Lots of sounds here, but I haven't a clue what's going on. These spectrograms don't provide enough detail at
the low frequencies (< 200 Hz)!!! |
09/06/16 09:26:41 | 69.3398 | -164.7682 | Again, many stacked pitch tracks here, of which I'm highly suspicious. |
09/06/16 09:51:18 | 69.3389 | -164.7727 | Same stacked pitch tracks. |
09/06/16 10:36:18 | 69.3400 | -164.7713 | Abundant stacked pitch tracks. |
09/06/16 11:51:18 | 69.3425 | -164.7729 | Many stacked pitch tracks. |
09/06/16 12:36:18 | 69.3442 | -164.7706 | More stacked pitch tracks. |
09/06/16 13:25:37 | 69.3461 | -164.7670 | Classified beluga call in p16, but pitch track is a bit short. Lots of sounds in p15, too, but no idea what's
going on there.
This is one of those weird series with lots of LF FM signals - could be glider, could be other. Sigh. |
09/06/16 13:51:18 | 69.3453 | -164.7712 | These stacked calls are really frustrating. Without the lower-frequency parts, some look like legitimate calls
(likely bowhead), but I'm having trouble believing them with all contemporaneous horizontal pitch tracks. |
09/06/16 14:36:18 | 69.3470 | -164.7688 | More stacked pitch tracks. |
09/06/16 15:26:01 | 69.3491 | -164.7662 | I'm scoring this as possibly detected for bowheads as some of these pitch tracks look like legitimate calls.
However, almost none are isolated from other (likely noise) pitch tracks, so I'm still suspicious.
There's a fair bit going on here - maybe bowhead, maybe other... |
09/06/16 16:36:18 | 69.3507 | -164.7667 | Again with the stacked pitch tracks, but the sequence in p3 looks different than the rest of the sounds here.
The pitch tracks are loud, not as stacked, have some shape to them (not monotones), and for those that are
stacked, the upper frequency pitch tracks are faint (like harmonics, but they're not at the right frequencies).
Very mysterious. I'm scoring as possibly detected for bowheads pending Kate's assessment. |
09/06/16 17:24:40 | 69.3526 | -164.7639 | Very loud stacked pitch tracks. |
09/06/16 17:51:18 | 69.3520 | -164.7679 | More craziness, but call at the beginning of p11 is interesting - loud and stacked, but stacked pitch tracks are
not monotones. Leaving as not detected for all species, but worth a look by Kate. |
09/06/16 18:36:18 | 69.3534 | -164.7664 | More stacked pitch tracks, many quite loud. |
09/06/16 19:27:15 | 69.3556 | -164.7600 | Argh! LF warble in p13 is interesting, but it has a monotone pitch track underneath it. |
09/06/16 19:51:18 | 69.3545 | -164.7592 | The regularity of the sounds in p11 is surprising. I can't tell if this is rudder noise or not. |
09/06/16 20:36:18 | 69.3559 | -164.7571 | Lots of sounds here, none very convincing. |
09/06/16 23:51:18 | 69.3626 | -164.7285 | Looks like reasonably loud beluga calls in p8, but pitch tracks look incomplete. Scoring as "possibly
detected".
I would actually be inclined to call this detected |
