Study objectives
A Slocum G3 glider was deployed on the continental shelf north of Cape Hatteras, North Carolina to conduct a near real-time survey for baleen whales, including the seriously endangered North Atlantic right whale.

The Slocum glider was expertly prepared and deployed by Ben Hodges (WHOI).
