Date/time (local) | Occurrence | Latitude | Longitude | Notes |
08/11/15 04:30:56 | Possibly detected | 43.1886 | -62.2450 | Classified upcall in panel 5 is a little short, but reasonably loud, classified and isolated. There is a second, quieter upcall of similar shape a little earlier at 4:22:35. This is another noisy record but there is no other noise in the same frequency band near these upcalls, and no evidence of humpback calling. I am confident that it is possible that the classified call is a real RW upcall.
Loud unclassified downsweep in panel 9. |
08/11/15 05:30:56 | Possibly detected | 43.1856 | -62.2549 | Two beautiful upcalls in panels 4 and 5. |
08/11/15 13:30:56 | Possibly detected | 43.1709 | -62.3238 | Nice RW upcall in panel 7 - is it followed by a RW downsweep? Classified upcall in panel 15 not convincing , occurs with other noise and doesnt have good shape. |
08/11/15 13:45:56 | Possibly detected | 43.1702 | -62.3262 | beautiful classified upcall. |
08/11/15 18:30:56 | Possibly detected | 43.1704 | -62.3893 | Classified upcall is isolated, a bit quiet but not too bad, a little short but has curve to it.
Should have a discussion about call in panel 6, has a checkmark shape to it which can be a RW upcall shape, but this one seems a little extreme. |

08/11/15 08:30:56 | 43.1961 | -62.2843 | downsweeps in panels 3 and 13 - one in panel 13 is loud and occurs in two bands, with higher frequency band being a very long sweep from 800 - 200 Hz. Could sounds in panels 7, 8 be humpbacks? Based on downsweep in panel 13 I will say possibly detected for humpbacks. |
08/11/15 08:45:56 | 43.1949 | -62.2867 | Two classified RW upcalls not seen in this record. |
08/11/15 09:30:56 | 43.1918 | -62.2932 | There are quite a few short LF downsweeps in this record. Classified RW upcall is just a blip, not convincing. |
08/11/15 10:30:56 | 43.1877 | -62.3024 | Possible sei whale doublet in panel 11. Not classified though. |

08/11/15 12:30:56 | 43.1745 | -62.3136 | RW upcall not seen. High frequency, long, loud sounds in panel 8 indicative of humpbacks - 7 HF downsweeps were pitch tracked in a one minute period. Scoring detected for humpbacks. |
